4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts V

Ups...

4. A Competitive Match & Prep For More

Jade Cargill AEW TBS Title
AEW

As promised, folks.

Skye Blue brought the best out in Jade Cargill during their competitive 10-minute showing. Cargill actually did some selling (not a criticism, but she's rarely tasked with looking weak), and Red Velvet was there to build towards her own eventual challenge for the TBS Title.

This was all super-solid, and another reminder of how 2023 should be a breakout year for Blue. She's a star in the making, and it'd be awesome to see what these women could go together 12 months from now. Future AEW Women's Title match? It could be, you know.

The final few moments of this one machine-gunned along, then Cargill nailed her transition into Jaded for the win. That was an unreal visual, and it's the kind of thing AEW can use in highlight packages for banner moments from her unbeaten run.

Oh yeah, Jade is now 48-0.
