Aubrey Edwards Sonjay Dutt

The opener for those AEW Tag straps was overbooked to the point of parody, but it was still a barrel of laughs from beginning to end. The Acclaimed and the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal probably had to go this road after the earlier Dynamite match anyway.

Everybody had something to do here.

Sonjay Dutt donned a ref shirt, which prompted Aubrey Edwards to come out and snap his pencil. Bet you fellas just crossed your legs reading that one, eh? Seriously though, Excalibur earns praise for pointing out that Aubrey was the one who caught Sonjay's interference on Wednesday night in the first match.

Score one seriously popular win for The Acclaimed (who are over as f*ck with these crowds, man). This should be heralded as one of the most entertaining BOTB matches thus far. It was something a little bit different and a big bit chaotic.

Bring on Aubrey vs. Sonjay. 60-minute 'Iron Man', here we go. Kidding.
