4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 4)

2. Chris Jericho = Mr. Invisible

Anna Jay Angelo Parker

Drama between members of the Jericho Appreciation Society is ongoing, but Rampage seems content to act like it sits separately from that. Here, Excalibur asked Chris Jericho for his thoughts on recent problems with his team. He commented, but Anna Jay and the rest of the gang barely looked his way.

He was right there, people. Why do AEW miss easy layups like this? It only makes Rampage look small time when they do, and just isn't how real human beings would interact with one another. What, Anna, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard are supposed to pretend their leader is invisible just because he's doing commentary?

OK then.

It definitely wouldn't have been difficult to have the trio look Jericho's way before, during or after the match. Maybe they did, but AEW's announcers just didn't reference it (or the cameras didn't catch that moment). Tell a story!
