2. AEW's Women Come Through

Simple statement time: Nyla Rose is Toni Storm's kind of opponent. Storm is at her best when she's fighting from underneath, and Nyla loves playing the power-move-monster who gobbles babyfaces alive for sh*ts and giggles. Both women gelled very well then.

It got better too.

The final few minutes of Storm vs. Rose were a cool reminder of what happens when wrestlers go out there and know what story they're supposed to be telling. Their match was laced with cutting power plays from Nyla, and had enough spunky comebacks from Toni to make her look every bit the face fans should believe in.

This is a rivalry AEW should revisit in the future; Nyla would be a cracking heel foe for Toni once Storm is Women's Champ. There was enough in this first showing to suggest that these workers have something special brewing between them, that's for sure.
