4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (June 9)

1. “What Collision Is All About”

Powerhouse Hobbs
AEW

The QTV gang said one Powerhouse Hobbs would give AEW fans a preview of what to expect when Collision launches next week. Hobbs then squashed Caleb Crush (rather ill-fitting name when you're working as enhancement talent!) in around 70 seconds.

So, is that what Collision will offer? Short squashes aplenty? It's hard to imagine that's what Tony Khan wanted to put across here; 'Hey, tune into my new Saturday night show and see Caleb Crush get battered!' is hardly going to pop a rating for Collision.

How odd.

The segment was a miss overall anyway, because Hobbs should really be beyond these soft reset squash match machine bits by now. AEW keeps hitting restart on him with this stuff, and it's old now. Man, they really bungled his push.
