3. Good For Chelsea Green, But…

Seeing Chelsea get her flowers again to become a double champ (she's also one half of the reigning AAA Mixed Tag Champions with Ethan Page) is nice and all, but what the hell happened to Giulia? She just got totally wiped by creative. The now-former Women's United States titleholder lost her belt without putting up any sort of fight at all.

Look, it'll likely work out putting the Women’s US belt back on Green, but it’d be a stretch to call any of this good. Brighter days ahead for the title, maybe? Hopefully, because Giulia’s title reign was a giant waste of time. It did nothing for her standing on the roster, and now her partnership with Kiana James has sod all to boast about. Plus, Green appeared to play a tweener more than a heel here.

It was messy.

The Women's United States prize has been around for less than a full year and it's already on life support. Again, maybe Chelsea's charisma and personality will ease those concerns, but yeah - her reign remains the only positive sign. Zelina Vega's run was poor, so was Giulia's, and now the latter is coming across as someone who can't get the job done.

There's nothing special about Giulia on the main roster. She looked like a star down in NXT, but the way her career path has gone south whilst ex-equal Stephanie Vaquer's has gone north? It's tough to figure out what went wrong. Vince McMahon (rightly) took a lot of flak for mucking up NXT > main roster promotions in his sleep, but Triple H has followed suit with Giulia.

Oops.
