4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 23 - Results & Review)

2. The Downside

There was an upside to the main event that'll be examined later.

For now, just know that Logan Paul and Kevin Owens on guest commentary took away from the headliner. Their bickering made sense due to prior beef, but it was far too distracting and also kinda made it obvious they were only at ringside to eventually cause a DQ between Drew McIntyre and LA Knight.

One thing's for sure: LP doesn't have a future as an announcer should he ever hang up the boots. His timing is off, and his heelish banter somehow sags when he has a headset on. It's hard to put one's finger on, but he likely isn't the next coming of Wade Barrett. Put it that way.

Fans around ringside knew it was only a matter of time before either Logan, Kevin or both poked their noses into the match. Those folks in Salt Lake City also knew what was about to happen next. In fact, they could've scripted it themselves, because we've all witnessed this next whinge once too often.
