Downs...

5. The Wyatts Do Literally The Same Thing

Firstly, seeing The Wyatt Sicks roar back into view on last week's show then wish fallen brother Bray Wyatt a happy heavenly birthday was awesome. It's also worth saying that they should add a lot to the SmackDown tag-team division overall, but not if WWE's writing team keep hitting the repeat button like they did on Friday night.

This sucks to point out, but nobody had anything new to say during the segment. The Street Profits bragged about being leaders of the SmackDown tag division, Fraxiom said they’re still owed a fair shot, Motor City Machine Guns put their name in the frame, and DIY moaned as usual. Then, the lights went out so Uncle Howdy and The Wyatts could attack and lay waste to everyone. Yeah, this is pretty much exactly what happened last week, and it doesn't help that nobody in the division seems to have a voice/point worth listening to right now.

SmackDown's tag tanks have been hot in-ring, but this was a repeat of last week’s show for the most part and came across as filler as a result. Later, Howdy appeared in a spooky pre-taped vignette to say he and his Sicks won't stop until they get what they're owed. Perhaps it's harsh, but it's also coming across loud and clear that WWE's creative squad just don't really know what to do with The Wyatt Sicks after writing a cool first chapter.

If this keeps up, then they'll veer awkwardly towards Dark Order in AEW territory, and nobody wants that. The mere thought should send shudders up spines.
