2. Nobody Cares Anymore

Bo Dallas Uncle Howdy Wyatt Sicks
WWE

The bloom isn't so much off the rose as...the soil has been poisoned and nothing is ever growing back on that land again. This week, Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy cut his samey mystical promo on Solo Sikoa. Apparently, Bo wants his lantern back. Right, that's enough of this - MFTs took the tag titles away from The Wyatt Sicks, so there’s no need to continue the tale.

Plus, the other Sicks weren’t even with Dallas here, so it looks like WWE plans to move on anyway. The group's endless string of ominous promos/vignettes is tedious as all hell. Acts like Dallas/Howdy make grand promises without actually delivering much, so people are over it and no wonder. WWE could legit press the repeat button on these vignettes and few would actually pause to take notice or complain about it.

It's boring. Really, really boring.

Look, it's heartfelt and lovely that The Sicks are a tribute to fallen brother Bray Wyatt. That earned the stable some popularity when they first showed up on the scene again, but it was never going to last forever. Well, it might've if the plans didn't run like this: Make grandiose, albeit cryptic promises > fail to deliver on them > repeat like failure is easily ignored.

If someone pitches hanging that lantern up on a pole or high above the ring, then shut the whole thing down right now. That's Vince Russo-inspired 'Attitude Era' nonsense that nobody needs to see, and it's the kind of thing folks would forget about anyway. Why? Because it doesn't actually matter.
