4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 21)

2. That Main Event

Solo Sikoa Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle might want to have a word with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens following SmackDown. The reigning Undisputed Tag-Team Champs left him high and dry for a three-on-one kicking at the hands of The Bloodline this week. Wow, some friends they are.

The stoner went on to work a spirited and intense brawl with Solo Sikoa that once again portrayed Solo as an emerging threat on par with anyone else in his family. Yes, including Roman. The whole match was great stuff, and Riddle succumbing to the numbers game was a believable way for him to lose.

Ye olde 'babyface has an out' trick worked a treat.

Some of the kendo stick shots from both guys were brutally stiff (as they should be), and they also managed to link back to last week's announce table spot by brawling on top of that too. Excellent work all-round, but it wasn't the best match SmackDown had to offer...
