4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Dec 13)

1. Child Actor Extraordinaire

The Miz Maryse Monroe Sky
WWE

Take a bow, Monroe Sky.

The Miz and Maryse's young daughter couldn't have entered a more flawless performance for her cameo on SmackDown. The way she whined to her mother and father before pointing Miz in the direction of a scary doll in her crib was surprisingly well executed for a baby.

No joke, Monroe's acting was genuinely better than most adult wrestlers. Her facial expressions were realistic, there was natural concern for her distress from the parents and the big point was more effective than Ronda Rousey's at the 2018 Royal Rumble. It's still real to her, damn it.

WWE succeeded here. Within the span of a few short minutes, they lured this writer into the spider's web and left him wanting to see Miz helplessly try and defend his family against a supernatural lunatic who wants nothing but destruction. This was a top notch scene from start to finish.
