4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Jan 8)

Downs...

5. Selling? What’s Selling?

The Street Profits Dolph Ziggler

Last week, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode ambushed The Street Profits and mercifully ended their painful stand-up comedy routine. During the beatdown, the heels focused on Montez Ford's leg, but you wouldn't have known that early doors on this week's SmackDown.

Ford didn't bother selling the injury.

Admittedly, he eventually remembered when Dolph and Roode smacked the limb around mid-match. Still, someone should've told Montez to walk to the ring with a limp or something - he showed zero ill-effects from the attack until the bout actually got underway, and that felt like a missed opportunity to garner some much-needed sympathy.

That's something The Profits have needed for a long time now. At times, they've acted more like heels than their opponents here. Ford should've had that leg patched up before Ziggler and Roode went to town on it here.
