4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 10 - Results & Review)

1. Interested To See Where This Goes

Santos Escobar Rey Mysterio

Taking Santos out of the LWO is a calculated risk, because he could fizzle out on his own. That's more of a worry with WWE's writers than the talent himself though, and it remains to be seen. Let's be positive. Escobar's attack on Rey-Rey was intense and believable.

The fact Mysterio spending more time with Carlito tipped Santos over the edge is also logically sound. Escobar thought the LWO was a vehicle for him to learn from Rey and eventually become the group's focal point as his successor. Then, along came an old pal of Mysterio's to muddy the waters.

Everything about this turn angle worked out well. WWE readied it with an earlier promo, then Rey regretted fighting back after Escobar hit him from behind. That led to a short standoff before Santos took matters into his own hands and wrecked his now-former leader.

Please push this to the forefront of TV - WWE could get months of content out of it.
