4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE NXT WarGames 2021

1. No Big Time Presentation

Perhaps the biggest issue with this inaugural NXT 2.0 "supershow" is that it came across as little more than an extended episode of weekly NXT TV. Presentation-wise, everything looked the same as it does on Tuesday nights. In fact, had the WarGames cage not been there, nobody would've known this was a pay-per-view.

That's a bit rubbish.

WWE must go more to give these shows a grand feel. That could mean moving out of the Capitol Wrestling Center for bigger events quarterly. If not, then the promotion must tart the place up to give it a unique aesthetic. Currently, it's like TNA's Impact Zone without the personality.

That sounds so harsh, but yours truly is very frustrated by the lack of effort that went into WarGames' presentation. Larger-scale events on paper need to look bigger and better than their regular TV counterparts. If not, then what's the point?
