4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 24)

5. Oddball Six-Woman Tag Fizzles

Can anyone determine what the common thread between Carmella, Tamina and Nikki ASH is? Or Rhea Ripley, Dana Brooke and Liv Morgan? Besides face/heel dynamics, there really isn’t any connection between either trio.

And yet, we got a six-woman tag match involving them that just underwhelmed. Tamina in particular looked embarrassing, falling down off a phantom clothesline Ripley never threw and stumbling around. Carmella, who was teaming with two women who do not hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with her, came in and immediately was hooked in Rhea’s standing Figure Four for the tap-out.

And then Nikki did a drive-by to Ripley to continue that feud. This was a match with no setup and no rhyme or reason, which isn’t always a bad thing. But when said match is embarrassingly bad and seems to serve no purpose? Yeah, then it gets a thumbs-down.
