4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 24)

4. Play It Out, See Where It Goes

Recently, Alexa Bliss tweeted that fans should basically wait and see where the therapist vignettes lead on Raw.

Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be going anywhere fun or entertaining yet. Monday’s edition consisted of the therapist asking Bliss about the first time she met Lilly, which led to a run-on answer about being 6 years old and being accosted by two older girls, and Lilly showed up after Alexa had been knocked unconscious.

The rambling answer was still going when the camera cut back to three gobsmacked-looking announcers, which might as well have been their real expressions and not part of the show. Maybe this will get good and Bliss will be proven right, but right now, it doesn’t feel like this is a fun trip at all, just a series of pointless segments.

And by the by, if this ends with Lilly being imaginary, fans should riot after WWE spent months convincing us the doll was supernatural by burning Shayna Baszler and Doudrop along the way.
