4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 19)

1. Logan Paul Stands Tall

While Logan Paul might not be your ideal babyface, putting him up against a detestable heel like Miz certainly doesn’t hurt.

Paul made his first in-arena appearance since signing a WWE contract this summer, coming out on Miz TV to insist that Miz accept his challenge for a match at SummerSlam. After a rundown of both men’s resumés, Logan finally led the arena in a chant about Miz’s “tiny balls,” which got him to accept the challenge.

Afterwards, Paul managed to escape a 2-on-1 attack from Miz and Ciampa, which was probably a good thing for his first night on Raw. The match itself could easily surprise a lot of fans and critics, as you’ve got to imagine WWE isn’t going to send Logan out there to die at SummerSlam.

While Paul might not be this writer’s cup of tea, we’ll give it a try and call this a modest success.
