4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 29)

2. All Those Surprise Wins

It didn't exactly make Sasha Banks look strong when she surprised Alexa Bliss with a quick roll-up for the win, and the exact same goes for Shorty G beating Cesaro. Both victories came pre-packed in almost identical spots - Shorty looked like an idiot for saying he'd shut Cesaro's mouth afterwards as well.

Yeah, you sure showed him with that fluky pin.

Friday wasn't a great night for finishes. As if it wasn't enough that WWE ran with two identikit roll-ups when they could've done literally anything else, the company also booked that aforementioned double count out between Sonya Deville and Lacey Evans. It was all rather unsatisfying.

No, not every TV match needs to finish with a finisher and pin, and yes, there were some storylines elements for the Banks vs. Bliss situation (Bayley's interference helped Sasha), but it would've been nice to see a little more creativity.
