3. Off To The Hospital

Johnny Impact’s promo this week didn’t really make that much sense. He stated that he decided to assist Michael Elgin last week because Big Mike enjoys putting people in the hospital, which apparently bodes well for Impact as he’s got an X Division Championship match coming up against Rich Swann.

There are two main reasons why this makes little to no sense from The Mayor of Slamtown – a) Elgin and Impact aren’t exactly the best of friends, they only aligned last week because they have a common enemy, and b) he can’t win the championship if the champion is lying in a hospital bed. Well, unless Rich Swann got stripped of the championship if he did end up in hospital.

It’s clear that Michael Elgin doesn’t want anything to do with Johnny Impact, aside from the fact that they both detest Swann and Willie Mack. If Johnny doesn’t play his cards right, then he may find himself laying on one of those hospital beds instead.
