4 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (June 6)

1. Lynch Screwed Out Of 24/7 Title

Only in WWE do people think that virtuous babyfaces cheat to hold down the heel and then gloat about it.

But that’s exactly what Asuka did when she screwed Becky Lynch out of the 24/7 Championship Monday night. Dana Brooke was clearly overmatched and doomed from the minute the bell rang, but Asuka distracted Lynch, then got on the apron to further divide Becky’s attention. Then, when Brooke reversed a Manhandle slam into a rollup, Asuka held Lynch’s foot down to allow Dana to retain her 24/7 title.

Just re-read that graph. Let it roll around in your head in the first place that Becky was competing for a joke title previously held by DJ Marshmello 24 hours after battling in an incredible PLE opener.

Worse, what makes a deluded heel like Lynch more despicable is when she thinks people are conspiring against her – not when they actually conspire against her. The heel should never be completely justified in their accusations. But here, Lynch would be 100% in the right that Asuka screwed her out of a win and had no business being there.
