4 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW All Out 2020

2. The Making Of A Man

Orange Cassidy Chris Jericho
AEW

Break. Out. Night.

Some may argue that Chris Jericho falling into the drink was a weaker finish than Orange Cassidy pinning him would've been, but that was always going to happen - it's why the liquid was at ringside in the first place. Someone was going for an alcoholic bath, and it was gonna' be Jericho.

Plus, the entire match was painstakingly booked to enhance Cassidy in the eyes of AEW's audience. Everyone involved achieved that goal, and Jericho's hard work meant that this was another huge moment for 'Freshly Squeezed'. He has joined both Darby Allin and MJF as AEW's rising young forces.

Jericho described his feud with Cassidy to the media as an experiment. He wanted to elevate his younger peer and prove to everyone that he has star-making abilities. Nobody can argue with Jericho after seeing his efforts here at All Out.

To borrow from an old UK ad, "The future's bright, the future's Orange".
