4 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW All Out 2020

1. MJF’s Performance

MJF would not be upstaged.

Here's a 24-year old who is just over five years into his pro career, and yet he's entering performances like this in a pressure headline spot on pay-per-view. There was nothing about MJF's demeanour to suggest this was the biggest match of his career. He didn't sweat it, and looked like he was on day 29 of a 30-night tour.

His performance belied the lack of main event experience, and he matched Jon Moxley every step of the way. Social media has already blown up about the blade job he worked after hitting the ring post outside, but blood did add to the drama of the match.

The fact Moxley used the Paradigm Shift despite agreeing not to beforehand will also give MJF something to whinge about on Dynamite. That, hopefully, will lead to a rematch and the company can busily set about the task of building Lance Archer up properly as a challenger instead of throwing him to the wolves.

MJF is the future of this company, no doubt. Moxley is just keeping that belt warm for him.
