It’s about damn time.

JD McDonagh finally earned his stripes Monday night, officially being welcomed into the Judgment Day after taking a bullet for Damian Priest yet again. The newbie had been acting as a probational member, tagging along at every turn and being the group’s effective punching bag, but after coming through several times for Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley and company decided that it was time to bring him into the fold.

The decision ends one of the sillier running gags, with McDonagh being a tagalong who constantly got beat up while trying to prove himself. At least now, he’s earned his spot and is a full-fledged member rather than this nebulous role that wore on for a bit too long.

The question of course has to be whether this is a temporary thing and he does something to earn a one-way ticket out of the Judgment Day, or if this precipitates Priest’s departure, especially after he declared himself the leader of the group.
