1. McIntyre Makes His Choice

For the past couple of months, Drew McIntyre has straddled the line between virtuous babyface and self-righteous heel, giving out dark hints while maintaining his status as a good guy.

Monday night, McIntyre made a choice that could easily be described as self-serving, but also could be defended as rightful payback.

With Judgment Day banned from the building, Drew made his way to ringside during the Undisputed Tag Team Championship match and laid Jey Uso out with a Claymore, costing him and Cody Rhodes the tag titles. To McIntyre, this clearly is payback for the times that the Bloodline – including Jey – have interjected themselves into Roman Reigns’ title matches to save the Tribal Chief. Costing Uso one tag title match is a small penance for him to pay for those sins.

The really interesting part will be how McIntyre rationalizes this decision to side with Judgment Day, especially since he shook Seth Rollins’ hand earlier in the night. Will he simply say he’s doing this to get back at Jey? Or is it part of a bigger descent for the Scottish Warrior. It should be fascinating either way.
