4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 19 - Review)

Ups…

4. Inoffensive Tag Match

Holiday-time wrestling shows typically are graded on a curve because of a lack of action or serious, meaningful developments, especially when future shows are taped. So we take our positives where we can get them.

A mostly inoffensive tag match between the Good Brothers and Alpha Academy was about as decent as you can get, thanks to Chad Gable’s all-around wrestling and entertaining skills and the fans being into an Otis/Luke Gallows confrontation. Two big men running into each other and going airborne to take the other off his feet will almost always get a reaction from a live crowd.

The match was forgotten literally seconds after its conclusion – thanks to a Bloodline attack on the OC – but for a few minutes, we got some decent action to fill some time on Monday night.
