3. McIntyre Is Not Playing

Many times, simple is better.

When Drew McIntyre was brought out as a guest on Miz TV, you could be forgiven if you thought we’d get a 15-minute back-and-forth between the champ and the Money in the Bank briefcase holder. But someone with a brain decided that less was more in this situation.

Miz ranted and raved about McIntyre’s plight, calling him “Andy” repeatedly, until Drew told him to shut up, then warmed him that if he interrupted him once, he’d regret it. Naturally, it took Miz five seconds to cut McIntyre off, and he immediately ate a Glasgow Kiss.

That simple interaction was more than enough to show that the champ was not playing and was all business. He didn’t need to cut a 5-minute promo telling us how serious he is, how hurt he is by Sheamus’ betrayal.

Instead, one solid headbutt conveyed all of it. Nicely done.
