4. The Slimmest Of Sense

After weeks of mindless table demolition, we finally got the barest semblance of reasoning for Nia Jax’s obsession with putting Lana through the announce table each week.

Simply put, Jax doesn’t feel like Lana deserves to be here and is just punishing her each week. Of course, her actions nearly cost her and Shayna Baszler the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship when Lana distracted them during the match.

Afterwards, Nia was furious and demanded a match with the Ravishing Russian, where she decimated her, then put her through a table yet again.

Look, it doesn’t really add up, and it’s barely coherent, but with a December PPV with the word “tables” in it, this should be leading to a logical conclusion. If it is, great, we can call it “long-term storytelling.” If not, then WWE really has no idea what it’s doing.
