3. Two Matches In One

Miz Dolph Kalisto

The first bout on Smackdown was a tag team contest combining two of the stipulation matches from TLC. At that show, The Miz will take on Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match, while Baron Corbin will take on Kalisto in a chairs match. On Smackdown, Corbin and Miz fought Dolph and Kalisto.

A commercial cut out most of the match, but as it was just Corbin getting the heat, that was fine. When the show came back, Dolph nailed Miz with a DDT outside of the ring, then planted Corbin with a superkick. Back inside, he made a hot tag to Kalisto, who ran wild with some high-risk offense. When things spilled to the outside, Kalisto took Corbin out with a dive.

When The Miz attempted to get back in the ring, Dolph hit him with a superkick - but as the referee's back was turned, Maryse threw a ladder onto "The Showoff." In the ring, Kalisto hit The Miz with Salida del Sol, but before he could score the pin, Corbin came in with a chair and hit Kalisto for the DQ. While nothing too special, the action during the televised portion of the bout was exciting.
