4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (June 17)
Ups..
4. The Wrestlers Are Given Room To Breathe
The upside of having fewer matches is that they are allowed a little extra time, and all the mid-card wrestlers took advantage of it. Enzo Amore has developed into a fine worker and appeared resilient and gutsy when being double teamed by B&M. Carmella got a hot tag (it's great to see the ladies getting hot tags in inter gender matches) and milked it for all it was worth. Speaking of which, Colin Cassady may be one of the best hot tag wrestlers in the company; he's right up there with Roman Reigns and Bubby Ray Dudley as a big guy with the ability to use his size and speed to create a flurry of high-impact offence that makes the crowd go wild. Likewise, not only was KC Cassidy granted the opportunity to show off her potential in a longer-than-usual squash, but Charlotte proved, as if proof were needed, that she is ready for the main roster. She showed off a number of great little spots, including an innovative bridge pin, a spear that would have drawn a "good god almighty" out of Jim Ross, and her brilliant Figure 8.
