4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw

3. This Does Not Reek Of Awesomeness

Don€™t get it wrong: Edge & Christian reuniting to host a Smackdown 15th anniversary special on the WWE Network is a great move, one that might show that WWE is sloooowly figuring out how to sell the Network. Both superstars are extremely popular and remembered fondly by current and lapsed fans. But WWE seriously dropped the ball in having the dynamic duo appear €œin studio€ at Stamford, a mere 43 miles from the Barclays Center. Now, it€™s likely that E&C taped their segments well beforehand and were not actually live, but if you€™re looking for ways to make Raw feel special, bringing Edge & Christian out together on stage would have been a great way to do it. Having them show up on the screen dampened the crowd reaction and detracted from what could have been a true Raw moment (more on that term later). At least E&C are better salesmen than the announcers.
