4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw

2. €œThis Is Stupid€

When you have 15,000 fans chanting the above sentence €“ LOUDLY €“ even the most tone-deaf person has to get the message, right? That question will likely be answered next week if we are again €œtreated€ to Mini-Gator (Hornswoggle in a gator costume) squaring off in some fashion against El Torito. Look, Torito and Hornswoggle actually worked hard to have a surprisingly good match in the €œWeeLC€ bout at Extreme Rules. But now, WWE has descended into what has to be Vince McMahon€™s warped sense of €œhumor.€ There€™s just no other plausible reason for a second straight week of Torito and €˜Swoggle in a gator outfit going at it. It wasn€™t entertaining last week, but Monday night, Brooklyn fans gave it such a thorough verbal drubbing that someone backstage has to stand up to Vince and tell him that they can€™t put something this mind-numbingly stupid on TV again, right? Ah, who are we kidding? Vince will probably assume New York fans just don€™t €œget it,€ but the crowd in Atlanta will double over in laughter next week.
