4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Apr 23)

2. Neville And Ziggler Make A Great Team

New tag teams are fun to watch especially when they are talented, athletic performers like Dolph Ziggler and Neville. Since Neville is one of the most exciting guys in WWE that has impressed a lot of people as a new performer on the main roster, fans can't get enough of. Dolph Ziggler is a fan favorite too, so they were a natural pairing going up against talented heels like Sheamus and Bad News Barrett. They worked a standard formula tag match. Neville was on the advantage early on, then the heels worked him over for the majority of the match and Ziggler came in with the hot tag. The crowd was on fire when Ziggler got in there. The ending was really well done because Barrett had Ziggler in a compromising position when Ziggler made a blind tag to Neville, then hit a Zig Zag and Ziggler nailed Sheamus with a Superkick outside the ring leading to the Red Arrow win for Neville. It was only a 10 minute match where they did everything right and managed to fire up the crowd while they did it too. That's all we want, WWE. Great matches like that on a regular basis. They certainly have the talent on the roster to do just that. If Daniel Bryan isn't at Extreme Rules and he is forced to vacate the IC Title then perhaps a guy like Neville could step in to face Barrett. They have good chemistry already. It would be fun to see that match even if it's not for the IC Title.
