4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (July 16)

2. The Presence Of The Destroyed Cadillac

Why was the demolished Cadillac on Smackdown this week? There was no sign of Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar or Paul Heyman on this show except for a video package, yet there was the Cadillac beside the entrance ramp as if it was relevant to the show.

It looked so cheesy watching this show while superstars would enter and leave the ring while this Cadillac loomed in the background. The photo above is from last week's show, but trust me it was on this week too.

The reason for it is probably because it's become a symbol of the Rollins/Lesnar storyline and it'll probably be there at Battleground as well. It's there for imagery to show what kind of damage Lesnar can do. That's fine, but was it really necessary on a show where those guys weren't even on the broadcast?

Maybe WWE can make up a Slammy Award for Best Inanimate Object (can Seth say it right?) and give it to the Cadillac that they love so much.
