4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (July 16)

1. Third Straight Week Without Clean Finish In Main Event

If you need an example of how WWE really doesn't care about Smackdown, just look at how they book the main events on this show. Most weeks it's usually a tag match and then it usually features a finish that isn't a pinfall or submission.

This week's main event ended in a disqualification when Wyatt attacked Reigns. Last week was a countout when Seth Rollins just walked out on the match and two weeks ago was a DQ finish for Reigns vs. Rollins. You have to go back four weeks for a clean finish in a main event, which is ridiculous.

Why should fans are about matches on this show if the results are going to be repetitive and very frustrating to watch? It's a big reason why Smackdown is perceived as a show that's worth skipping week after week.

The work in the match was good because Reigns, Ambrose, Sheamus and Big Show know what they're doing out there, but it feels like the same thing nearly every week. When the DQ happened all I really want to do is shake my head because it's frustrating to watch.
