4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (June 18)

3. Seth Rollins Delivered A Championship Address With Confidence

"I am the biggest star in WWE. I am the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and I am the undisputed future of this industry." That's what Seth Rollins said during a five minute monologue that took place on Smackdown. He showed in that promo that he has come a long way in terms of delivering a promo in the ring all by himself and showing that he is a very good talker. A year ago he would have had a problem doing that, but he's got so much more confidence and experience now that he can pull it off. Rollins also addressed the return of Brock Lesnar, who returned on Raw and will face Rollins at Battleground on July 19. He did an excellent job of saying that for him to cement his legacy he has to beat Lesnar at Battleground. By saying that with such confidence it makes you believe that he actually has a chance instead of taking him for a fool for thinking he might beat Lesnar. Towards the end of the promo, Rollins got all cocky talking about how he would have knocked Lesnar's teeth down his throat if Lesnar touched him. Of course that's all a lie because heels in wrestling have always been known to lie. Rollins looked scared of him at Raw and that's likely how the feud is going to be built up. Rollins ended his championship address by saying he "can' wait" to face Lesnar at Battleground. It did an awesome job of getting people excited for that match without Lesnar or advocate Paul Heyman in the building.
