4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (June 4)

Downs...

4. Keeping Injured Rusev On Television

The Raw promo that Rusev did this past Monday was very good. He said he was a man that had lost everything - his title, his girl and his sprit has been crushed, but he's going to get it all back. That should have been the last time we saw him until he's ready wrestle again after breaking his foot. Instead of letting him get off TV to bring him back fresh, they put him out there on Smackdown to look like a fool while trying to get Lana back again. You already did this, WWE. Move on from this angle and stop making Rusev look like some normal guy that comes off as a whiner because he blames Lana for his failures. Rusev needs to be a monster heel that doesn't lose matches or doesn't care that somebody like Lana leaves. He should be independently strong. He is not the character that should be laughed at by fans because nobody likes him anymore. Keep Rusev off TV until he's ready to wrestle again. Bring him back as a heel that's better than ever with a new look (perhaps wrestling in boots with a new manager) because that would be the best thing for him.
