4. Rusev Fought Through Pain To Have A Good Match With Ryback
This wasn't the first time Rusev has faced Ryback because they've battled in the ring a bunch of times in the last few months, but they have developed a good chemistry. They know how to put together an entertaining power match every time they get a chance. There was legitimate ankle injury suffered by Rusev. It looked like it happened when Ryback gave Rusev a clothesline over the top to the floor and Rusev had a hard landing where he favored his right foot. He still fought through the match even though he was limping around. You could see Rusev was favoring it significantly. The ending of the match wasn't great. Rusev got disqualified for tossing Ryback into the steel post two times in a row. That came across like a weak DQ because normally guys are allowed to do that sort of thing, but it seems like they improvised the finish due to Rusev's injury. It was likely going to be a DQ ending in a different way, so that's why they went with that finish. Give Rusev credit for fighting through the injury, which could be a bad sprain that keeps him out for a few weeks. Ryback deserves praise because he's improved in the ring in the last few months too.
