4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (May 7)

2. Putting Harper And Rowan Together Again Is The Right Move

Luke Harper won a short match with Fandango in about two minutes. They were rushing through spots so quickly because they knew they only had a couple of minutes to go through a match. Harper was able to slam Fandango off the top, then he hit a superkick and a spinning clothesline for the win. When the match was over, Harper celebrated the win and then his former partner Erick Rowan walked down to the ring. The reaction of the crowd at first was a cheer because they thought he was going to attack Harper. Instead, he attacked Fandango. He stomped on him and then hit a Full Nelson Slam. Harper just looked on with a puzzled look while Rowan walked away alone. Since Rowan flopped as a face, WWE would be smart to turn him into a heel that is aligned with Harper and possibly Bray Wyatt again. They could put these two back together as a heel team because they were among the best teams in WWE when they teamed together regularly. Breaking up the Wyatt Family last year was a mistake. Putting them back together is the right move, so the sight of Rowan surprisingly coming out to help Harper is definitely an "up" from this week's show.
