4 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (May 27)

4. Bayley An Afterthought

Fans should be somewhat worried for Bayley, who seems to be fading into the background somewhat. Her feud with Emma didn't exactly light the world on fire, but last night she was an afterthought even in her own match, with the focus being chiefly on Charlotte and newbie Dana Brooke. Not only did she surprisingly lose both clean and in a relatively decisive fashion, but she was also beat down after the match, without being given an opportunity to mount any kind of defence. Until the main roster have sorted out their Divas division, and they still have a long way to go on that front, Bayley better hope she gets more opportunities to strengthen her character before she gets called up. Her gimmick may be too cutesy and sincere for the main roster and she's likely to be packaged as a comedy act. Right now, NXT should be her home for a while longer, so fans just have to hope that they have plans for her, but that doesn't appear to be the case from last night's episode.
