4 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (May 27)
3. Corbin vs Rhyno Set To Continue?
Corbin vs Rhyno was probably the worst, or certainly least memorable match on Unstoppable's card. Again, it wasn't that bad, but it was a match built around the first-time-ever intrigue of putting the two biggest monsters of NXT against each other. It was certainly more of a one-time special attraction than a work of art, and fans aren't exactly clamouring for a sequel, but that appears to be WWE's plan. Airing a backstage interview from Unstoppable, Baron Corbin gave an uneasy interview (he's uncomfortable on the mic) before Rhyno approached him, saying "that was fun, we should do it again sometime. The sooner the better." It doesn't feel like a feud that can run and run - it's certainly no Zayn/Owens - and fans would be justified in feeling like they've seen everything the two men have to offer. They just didn't have that much chemistry, and being squash artists more than anything, they're both relatively limited in terms of moveset. Rhyno's been around the block so he likely has a few tricks up his sleeve, but Corbin is still pretty much just a flashy finisher. If WWE has plans for a long-term feud for the two men, they both need to up their arsenal, and fast.
