4 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Raw (June 29)

6. Oh, The Horror!

WWE Extreme Rules Horror Show

You’re kidding, right?

What marketing major dropout came up with the idea to give a subtitle to the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV, and then decided on, “The Horror Show”? This might be a new level of strange from WWE – but at least it isn’t “Beware of Dog.”

Still, what prompted this name? The only match that looks like it could contribute to the title would be the Bray Wyatt/Braun Strowman swamp match. But even that isn’t exactly a horror show – it’s the latest Bray and Braun chapter, a flashback to a few years ago. A match against The Fiend would fit that name better.

That doesn’t take into account that some would say we’re all living a “horror show” right now in the US, between a resurgent health crisis and racial tensions, not to mention a host of other issues.
