7. Just Filling Time

Not every segment on Raw can be a winner, but some can be a downright waste of time.

That was the 24/7 Championship “match” between Akira Tozawa and R-Truth, which consisted of one offensive move: rollups. Truth faked a knee injury on a leapfrog, and then rolled up Tozawa to win back his 24/7 title for the 187th (give or take a few dozen) time. Then the ninjas tried to attack, to no avail, and Truth fled.

Inoffensive? Sure. Enjoyable? No. These are the same silly segments that WWE was posting solely on YouTube a year ago. Now? They’re a whole segment on Raw because there’s nothing better happening.

Not everything can be a home run, but let’s do better, please?
