4 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Legends Raw (Jan 4)

2. Bringing Omos Into The Mix

During the past several weeks, we’ve slowly seen AJ Styles’ large associate Omos get more involved in the fracas at ringside.

At TLC, John Morrison blasted Omos with a steel chair (which imploded on impact) after the big guy put Miz through a table. Omos has spoken a bit more, and more of his personality/character has crept out, such as last week’s revelation that he listens to Mozart (and Elias’ music was distracting him).

Monday, after Styles defeated Elias for the second week in a row, Jaxson Ryker charged into the ring to swing a guitar at AJ. But Omos got him to duck and kicked the guitar, shattering it. It was a simple move, but it looked impressive enough, and it showed Omos getting somewhat involved in this feud.

Could his first televised match be far behind? It might be a while before we see anything like that, but having him do more than look imposing is certainly a development, and nicely done to protect him.
