4 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Legends Raw (Jan 4)

4. Feud Killer

Matt Riddle Bobby Lashley

So let’s get this straight: After doing a nice job of building up a rivalry between Riddle and Bobby Lashley by having each man beat their compatriots, WWE booked an unannounced, non-title match between the two on Raw? What could possibly go wrong?

Um, everything, apparently.

WWE managed to nuke the Lashley/Riddle feud in the stupidest way possible Monday night, having Riddle tap out clean to the Hurt Lock, only to be saved because the referee didn’t see it, and then pinned the United States Champion with a rollup seconds later (after tapping out).

Remind us, who was supposed to look good here? The challenger who tapped out? Or the champ who lost to a rollup?

Just the worst possible finish you could do here to set up a US title match, so naturally, WWE did it. Idiots.
