4 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Super Showdown 2020

8. A Disappointing Sequel

On Raw Monday night, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo had a pretty good battle of the cousins.

On Thursday, we got a return engagement, but like many sequels, it couldn’t top the original.

Garza and Carrillo seemed to be moving at half-speed at times, going through the motions at others, as this match had a few high-flying moves, but it never really got untracked. As a result, what we got was just a below average TV match, not the second bout in what’s supposed to be a heated rivalry between cousins.

And when you take that and a dead crowd into account, it makes for a negative mark here.
