The rumors have been circulating for a while that Undertaker would indeed be wrestling at WrestleMania 36, and that he’d be facing AJ Styles. So it was no surprise that Taker made a shock appearance at Super Showdown to confront the Phenomenal One.

However, if anyone tells you they expected to see UT chokeslam and pin(!) AJ in less than 30 seconds, they’re lying.

But that’s exactly what happened, as Taker “replaced” an injured Rey Mysterio in the Tuwaiq Trophy gauntlet match, got jabbed in the chest by Styles’ finger a couple times, and immediately chokeslammed and pinned AJ, without even taking his coat or hat off.

And now we’re supposed to be excited to see Undertaker versus Styles at Mania. Because WWE said so.

This could have been accomplished a lot better, but seriously, having AJ lose in 30 seconds to one chokeslam? Randy Orton says it best: “Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!”
