4 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Feb 19)

3. Harper & Rowan Losses Show That Splitting Up The Wyatt Family Was A Mistake

The split of The Wyatt Family was one of those things that left fans thinking that it was a peculiar thing for WWE to do, but we shouldn't think of it as a failure until we see what happens. After seeing it for several months, it feels like we can say that it was a mistake. Erick Rowan is the WWE's biggest jobber right now. He lost that feud to Big Show at TLC, he lost that match to get into the Royal Rumble while his two buddies won theirs and somehow he's in a PPV six man tag at Fastlane despite all the losing. Let's not forget that he lost to Show in under two minutes on this show although the excuse is he was attacked early. Luke Harper is a really good in-ring performer not just for a big guy, but for any wrestler. The guy can really have solid matches when given the chance. His IC Title reign to end 2014 was so brief that most people probably forget that it even happened. Now he's the guy that has competitive matches against top faces, yet he usually loses. He's a loser like Rowan. Bray Wyatt hasn't had much in the way of a proper feud since the Jericho feud ended in the summer. He's been doing all these mysterious that are probably leading to the return of The Undertaker. That's a big feud for him, but it would help if he had his buddies by his side to make him look like more of a menacing threat. There's nothing wrong with admitting a mistake and going back to a storyline that worked. Put that trio together again. Let Harper & Rowan go back to being a team while they back up Wyatt for his battles. It would be best for all of them.
