How much did Vince McMahon want John Cena to succeed from day one? Very much so, to the point that WWE actually booked The Undertaker to verbally put Cena over after his first match against Angle. Taker nodded his head at Cena in the backstage segment, asking "what's your name kid?" After Cena replied, Taker took his glasses off and nodded some more. He then reached his hand out and the two shook hands. "Nice job," Taker declared. Cena's expression was like starstruck teenager. It was a hugely symbolic moment, even more so considering The Undertaker had the WWE Title over his shoulder. Looking back now, when you think how big Cena is, this moment is even more mind blowing. It felt big back then, but it feels huge now in the context of history.
