5 Best Moments On WWE Crown Jewel 2021 (And 5 Worst)

6. Best - The Best Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns Match Since The FIRST One

Goldberg Bobby Lashley
WWE

Not since WrestleMania 31 have Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns had a match as enjoyable as this, and much of that can be put down to the dynamics.

WrestleMania 34's utter disaster was made worse by a crowd in no mood to see a result they thought was a certainty, and Reigns' popularity was such that even a SummerSlam 2018 dethroning of then-Universal Champion 'The Beast' had to be shot from the lowest possible angle to remove views of audiences leaving as the new titleholder toasted his success.

This, at long last, felt like it always should have done.

Fans were with Lesnar to defeat 'The Tribal Chief', fascinated with what exactly Paul Heyman might do (more on that later) and wowed by some of the eye-watering exhibitions of strength and athleticism from Brock and Roman respectively.

It rarely strayed from lobbing bombs, and when it did, it delivered easily one of the best dives in WWE history. Your mileage may vary, but objectively this absolutely delivered what was promoted.
