5 Best Moments On WWE Crown Jewel 2021 (And 5 Worst)

5. Worst - ...With A Cheap Finish

WWE weren't going to end the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar rivalry at Crown Jewel, but they weren't that bothered about offering a particularly satisfying finish either.

Paul Heyman's hammy input was tremendous, but the drama was rapidly diluted by The Usos running in to capitalise on a distracted Brock Lesnar with double superkicks that left 'The Beast' prone for defeat. It was a flat ending to an energetic affair, even if it gave 'The Tribal Chief' temporary bragging rights over his fiercest rival and a chance to put their story to one side before a presumed reprisal around WrestleMania season.

Will it mean as much by then, though? The arrangement of all the moving parts was logical, and Roman getting yet another conclusive victory to add to his collection felt like part of the bigger story WWE are telling with his character, but some contests simply don't warrant a sequel. Or, in this case, don't warrant it enough.

At this point, Paul Heyman's attempt to play both sides is the only remaining hook. Luckily for the company, he kept it dangling...
